HOT HONEY CHICKEN SALAD

This salad gives you the best of both worlds—sweet and spicy chicken tenders served over a fresh cool salad.

Ingredients

FOR THE MARINADE

1 lb. chicken tenders 1 cup milk 1/4 cup hot sauce 1/4 cup pickle juice 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. smoked paprika

FOR THE GLAZE

6 tbsp. butter, melted 3 tbsp. honey 2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 tsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp.smoked paprika 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Salt, to taste

FOR THE SALAD

4 oz. 80 Acres Farms FOREVER SUMMER 8-10 80 Acres Farms FIREWORKS TOMATOES, halved 8-10 pickle slices 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced 1 avocado, diced Favorite blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  1. Whisk marinade ingredients together in a bowl. Place the chicken tenders in a plastic bag and add sauce. Marinate for at least one hour, up to overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°.
  3. Place marinated chicken tenders onto parchment paper lined sheet pan and bake for about 10 minutes.
  4. While you wait, combine all glaze ingredients in a bowl and stir.
  5. Remove chicken, brush with glaze, then broil for about 3 minutes until slightly golden, watching carefully. Add more glaze after broiling if desired. Let chicken cool slightly.
  6. Add all salad ingredients to a bowl of FOREVER SUMMER. Top with chicken.
  7. Drizzle with dressing and enjoy immediately!
