BASIL POMEGRANATE TARTLETS

Fancy and festive without the fuss with this simple five-ingredient recipe.

Ingredients

24 ready-to-fill pastry cups, found in the grocery freezer section

6 oz goat cheese, room temperature

2 oz cream cheese, room temperature

12 Tbsp honey, plus extra for drizzle

1 cup of pomegranate arils

a handful of 80 ACRES FARMS ALL ABOUT THAT BASIL, chiffonade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line phyllo cups on a baking sheet and bake for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Mix goat cheese, cream cheese, and honey by hand or with a stand mixer until blended and whippy.
  3. Fill pastry cups with cheese mixture with a spoon or piping bag.
  4. Chiffonade basil by rolling a stack of basil leaves like a cigar. With a sharp knife, cut the basil leaves into ribbons.
  5. Top with pomegranate arils and basil ribbons.
  6. Drizzle with honey and serve.­
