STRAWBERRY SAUCE

A couple of simple ingredients and just 20 minutes creates the most mouth-watering and versatile fruit topping.

10 oz 80 Acres Farms STRAWBERRY SPARKLERS, quartered

3 Tbsp sugar

2 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

Dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Lower heat to a gentle simmer until the strawberries are soft and the syrup is thickened approximately 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add vanilla and stir to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for up to 7 days in an air-tight container.

Notes

Our favorite pairings are Greek yogurt, French toast, crepes, or even biscuits.
